Mason Thomas Stockdale

    Mason Thomas Stockdale aka “Boogada” “Lil Stocky”, the son of Greg Stockdale and Lisa Moss, was born on December 20, 1997, in Webster City, Iowa. He was raised in Eagle Grove and attended Eagle Grove High School, later receiving his GED from Iowa Central Community College.

    Mason worked at Custom Meats in Webster City and enjoyed the people he worked with.  He enjoyed spending time playing video games and was especially good at chess.  He liked to spend time outdoors and hanging with friends, and loved to try new foods.

     Mason had the biggest heart of anyone you would ever meet.  Talking with friends, family, or even acquaintances, they all say the same thing, how kind he came across all the time.  This is the kind of man that would make sure you were good even if he was not.  Mason had just the most beautiful kind heart and was our gentle giant and will now be our angel that was stolen too soon.

    Mason passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the age of 26 years. He was preceded in death by his Nana, Marryann Stockdale; family dog, Peanut, and other relatives and friends. 

    Survivors include his dad, Greg Stockdale of Eagle Grove; mama, Lisa Moss of Eagle Grove; sister, Maddie Stockdale (Caleb) of Perry; brothers: Gunner Stockdale who is traveling with the Air Force, and Kaleb, Kayne and Keegan Reis of Barnum; papa, Bob Stockdale of Duncombe.
