Robert LeRoy Asche

     Robert ~ Bob ~ LeRoy Asche, the son of Angle and Alice (Omvig) Asche, was born on April 22, 1944, in Eagle Grove, Iowa.  He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove. 

     Bob was united in marriage with Judy Adams on March 28, 1964. The couple had three children: Colleen, Bobby and Denny.

     Bob worked for Umthun Trucking, Giese Construction and American Concrete as a heavy equipment mechanic and later as a driver. His younger years he spent his time fishing and later came to enjoy taking trips to the casino.  He always looked forward to coffee with the guys at the family table.

     Bob passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Clarion Health and Rehab, at the age of 79 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Henningson and brothers: Edward, Joe, Donald, Kenneth, Richard and Lawrence.

     Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Judy; children: Colleen (John) Freeman, Bobby Asche and Denny Asche (Niki); grandchildren: Blake Lindstrom, Maxx Asche, Carter Asche (Jesse), Tony and John Freeman and Dominick and Andrea; siblings: Millie Reed, Alice Lessmeier, Linda Asche, Ron Asche (Fran), Johnny (Cindy) Asche and Terry (Vickie) Arne; sisters-in-law: Leola Asche, Janice Asche and Amy Asche; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Family is gathering at 4:30p.m.
