Shirley Ann (Larsen) Schipull

      Shirley A. Schipull, 92, Fort Wayne, IN passed away Friday February 16, 2024 at Sage Bluff Health and Rehab Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM on March 2, 2024
followed by the service at 2:00 PM at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Burial service will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield, Iowa.
      Shirley was born October 6, 1931 in Iowa City, Iowa to parents George and Edna Larsen. She dedicated her life to raising her children, supporting life on the farm and remaining active in the Methodist Church. Upon moving to Missouri in the mid 70’s, she worked as a school teacher and attended the many activities her children participated in. After moving to Texas in the
1980’s, she became a successful Real Estate Broker. Later in life, she relocated back to Missouri where she worked in the financial services industry until retirement. Finally, in 2019 she moved to Indiana where she was close to family.
      Shirley was always surrounded with family and friends throughout her life. She had a zeal for life, loved to travel, quick to laughter while spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Most significantly, she dedicated her time caring for her disabled son Ronald. They enjoyed numerous activities; walking marathons around town, visiting friends, cooking banana bread,
drinking cappuccino’s and handing out candy to everyone they met.
      Shirley is survived by her children: Mike Schipull, Karen Schipull Gard and husband Jeff, Steve Schipull and wife Sharron and Daughter-in-law Tonia Schipull. She is also survived by her
grandchildren Whitney Schipull, Logan Gard and wife Megan, Ian Schipull and wife Mackenzie, Lucas Gard, Erin Schipull Mader and husband Kyle and great grandchildren Elijah and Veronica Gard.
      She was preceded in death by husband Verne and her children Darlene, Rodney and Ronald.
