Martha H. (Stanowski) Visocsky

  Martha (Stanowski) Visocsky, the daughter of Hans and Amalia Stanowski, was born on May 11, 1931, in Kitzingen, West Germany, where she was raised and educated..

     Martha married Siegfried Schlag and they had three children: H. Fred, Wolfgang and Roswitha.  They later divorced.

     Martha married Donald Visocsky Sr., and they had two children: Herman and Donald Jr.

     Martha moved from Germany to the United States in January of 1960, living in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma while Don was stationed in the military.  They moved to Eagle Grove in 1981.

     Martha enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

     Martha passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Rotary Senior Living in Eagle Grove, at the age of 92 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Visocsky Sr.; step-daughter, Vickie Visocsky (Arnold) of Missouri and grandsons: Dennis Kirby Jr. and Noah Simpson II.  

    Survivors include her children: H. Fred (Patricia) Visocsky of Eagle Grove, Wolfgang Schlag of Germany, Roswitha (Terry) Laws of Missouri, Herman Visocsky of Kansas and Donald Visocsky Jr. of Eagle Grove; grandchildren: Matthew, Valerie, Candace, John, Mary, Nikki, Amy, Andrea, Katie and Kerri and several great-grandchildren.

    Private Family services will be held. The Visocsky family will celebrate Martha’s life  with friends and family at Rails Depot in Eagle Grove on March 23rd from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

    Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
