Becky Lynn (Blecker) Womack

     Becky Lynn Womack, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Paul) Blecker, was born on August 22, 1954, at Clarion, Iowa.  She was raised and educated in the area of her birth, graduating from Clarion High School “Class of 1973”.

     On May 25, 1991, three years after making him a blueberry shake, that splattered her face, while working at Snack Village, Becky was united in marriage with Ed Womack.  They made their home in Clarion and Webster City.

     Because of Becky’s love of cooking and being a fantastic cook – she spent her life in food service, which also included owning the Star Café and many years at Doc Stop (along with her daughter’s).  She also had a love of music, helping anyone she could and making her family feel super special.

      If you knew Becky, you knew she could turn any place or situation into a Happy Place and there was never a dull moment if she was involved.  Becky will be remembered for her Big Heart, love of celebrating every holiday and birthday – making sure there was never a shortage of food and her crazy addiction to QVC and Amazon!!   Her family remembers always being greeted with a hug and big smile and never going to bed (even as adults) without ~ “sleep tight don’t let the bed bugs bite, love you to the moon and back).

     Becky passed away at her home on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the age of 66years.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandma, Emma Johnson; sister-in-law, Kathy Blecker and brother, Walter “Tim” Oldham.

    Survivors include her husband, Edward Womack of Webster City; daughters: Tina Stegen of Pleasant Hill, Tammy (Brad) Eivins of Alexander and Tiffany Goodpaster of Webster City; grandchildren: Hunter Stegen (Dylan), Skylar, Riley and Zane Goodpastor; sister, Nancy (Tom) Erickson of Clarion; brother, Tom Blecker of Des Moines and many nieces, nephews and friends.

     Visitation will be from 4:oo p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.

     Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
