Cheri Lynn (Willard) Wilcox

Cheri Lynn Wilcox, was born on July 18, 1961, in Lafayette, Louisianan, the daughter of James Chappuis and Sandra Lancaster.  She graduated from Eagle Grove High School, “Class of 1979”.

On February 6, 1982, Cheri married Rick Wilcox in Eagle Grove.  The couple made their home and raised two children in Goldfield.  After 21 years, they divorced.

Cheri loved her job at Mosaic in Clarion, helping her clients with job training.

Cheri was very creative and artistic and loved to care for others. 

Cheri passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Southfield Wellness in Webster City, at the age of 61 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cheri is survived by her children, Melissa Wilcox of Goldfield and Jacob Wilcox (Haley) of Des Moines; grandchildren, Mia, Rilee and Myles; sisters, Kelly Angelico, Nikki Hauser and Teri Jo Pohlman (Al) – all of Eagle Grove and brother, Anthony “Tony” Willard (Amy) of Eagle Grove and many nieces and nephews.
