Obituary

      Cindy Lea Campbell, the daughter of Donald and Dora (Orr) Asche, was born on July 27, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Eagle Grove graduating with the “Class of 1977”.

     Cindy was united in marriage to Charles Campbell on February 13, 1991.  The couple lived and worked together on a farm southeast of Eagle Grove.  Charles preceded her in death in 1995.

      Cindy worked under her mother as a cook at Rotary Ann for over 13 years.

     Cindy enjoyed working on crafts and was known to have "duplicates" of everything. She loved her pets and always took special care of them.     

      Cindy passed away peacefully at Southfield Wellness Community on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the age of 63 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

     Survivors include her brothers: Mike (Sue) Asche of Durango and Don (Jan) Asche of Eagle Grove; sister, Barb (Ken) Greenwood of Eagle Grove; 1 niece and several nephews; special friend, Mrs. E (Sue Erickson) and cousin Jake.

      A Graveside service will be held on Monday July 31st, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Troy Township Cemetery, south of Eagle Grove.   

     Memorials may be left to the Wright County Humane Society.
