Jack Chester Stampka, the son of John and Alice (Stoddard) Stampka, was born on December 17, 1950, in Algona, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Lu Verne, where he graduated from High School.
Jack worked for W & H Coop and for Miller Grain Systems, he retired in 2012
Jack enjoyed his years in the outdoors - trapping, hunting, raising mules and numerous “Coon” hunting dogs. He especially loved time spent with his granddaughter, Chloe.
Jack passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, at the age of 67 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jeff Stampka in 1999.
Jack is survived by his son, Jason Stampka and wife Amy and their daughter, Chloe of Webster City and sisters, Margo Gray of Lu Verne and Mario and husband Roger of Unionville, MO.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
Visitation is Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Goldfield.
