Jane E. (Read) Frazier

Jane Ellen (Read) Frazier, was born on October 15, 1951, in the family’s home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne and Rosebud (Christian) Read. Jane was raised and educated in Eagle Grove, graduating from Eagle Grove High School, “Class of 1970”. She also attended Iowa Central Community College.

   Jane was raised in the Open Bible Church in Eagle Grove and later joined the Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City.  

   Jane married Jerry Frazier on May 24, 1986 and they made their home in Webster City. Jerry preceded her in death on March 17, 2016.

   Jane worked for Electrolux, Hy-Vee, BEAM and Pro Farma – retiring in 2016.

  Jane loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, gatherings and catching up with friends, old and new. She enjoyed traveling, stopping at a casino, now and then – to test her luck on the slots, her weekly dinner outings with friends, music, concerts and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa State Cyclones.

   Jane is survived by daughter Angie Dilley of Ashland City, TN; son Justin Frazier and wife Jonalyn of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Drayke Gorman and wife Jade of Dayton, Baylee Jensen of Ashland City, TN and Aiden Frazier of Henderson, NV; great-grandchildren, Mia Gorman and Brodie Page; brother Denny Read of Eagle Grove; sister-in-law Jeanie Teno of Humeston and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

    Jane passed away on Tuesday, October 12m 2021, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, at the age of 69 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Beulah Miller and Janice Olson.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October18, 2021, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Foust Funeral Home. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
