Lois Marie (Hirsch) Otto

      Lois Marie Otto, the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Gunder) Hirsch, was born on November 23, 1944, in Algona, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Goldfield.

      Lois was united in marriage to Everett Trausch, to this union they had four children: Debra, Robert, Sharon and Bernie. They later divorced.  Lois married Edmund “Bill” Otto on August 27th 1983 and he preceded her death in 2011

      Lois worked the Villager “Family Table”, Rotary Ann, and drove truck for Decker and TMC.

      Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove.  She enjoyed spending time playing with her grandkids, bingo, cards and at the casino.       

      Lois passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the age of 78 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Judy Wanken (Gene) and Karen Williams; brothers: Dennis, Gene, Gary and Kenneth (Kathy) Hirsch; great grandson, Wyatt and nephew, Kenny Hirsch.

     Survivors include her children: Debra Trausch of Eagle Grove, Robert Trausch (Jill) of Eagle Grove, Sharon Trausch of Dayton and Bernie Trausch of Eagle Grove; 8 grandchildren: Tonya, Jennifer, Mindy, Matthew, Robbie, Erin, Michael and Brandon; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nieces, Christine and Michelle and brother, Mike (Carolyn) Hirsch of Eagle Grove.
