Obituary
Marian June (Bauman) Berg, the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Maier) Bauman, was born on June 18, 1932, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the Woolstock and Eagle Grove area, graduating from Eagle Grove with the class of 1951. She was united in marriage to Eugene Berg on October 7, 1951. Marian was a devoted wife and mother.
Marian passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Bickford Senior Living in Fort Dodge, Iowa, at the age 90 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 65 years, Gene, in 2016; brothers: Nicholas Bauman (Marcella), Donald Bauman (Doris) and Roger Bauman (DeLores).
She is survived by her daughter; Deb (Mark) Jorgensen of Lake Panorama; grandsons: Scott Peterson (Lisa) of Adel and Matt Peterson (Alaina) of Polk City; great grandchildren: Nicholas Peterson, Azile Peterson and Leo Peterson.
Private family Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February, 7, 2023. The Mass will be livestreamed: holyfamilycluster.org on facebook.
