Mark Anthony Willard

Mark Anthony Willard, the son of Louis and Jean (Conaway) Willard, was born on July 27, 1953, in Clarion, Iowa.  He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove.

        Mark married Rozanne Loux in 1974 and they had a daughter, Wendy.  In 1983, he married LuAnn Jackson and they had a daughter, BreeAnn and son, Mark.   In 1997, Mark met Leslie Nickless and they had a daughter, Jana.

     Mark always “loved” the ladies, was constantly cracking jokes, had a plethora of ‘useless’ knowledge and “a jack of all trades”!

     Mark passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, at the age of 68 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Steven Willard; brothers, Brady, Wade, Terry and Bud (Char) Willard and sister, Carla Schnell.

     Mark is survived by his children: Wendy Willard of Spencer, BreeAnn Vrba (David) of Eagle Grove, Mark Willard (Amanda) of Eagle Grove and Jana Willard of Eagle Grove;  11 grandchildren: Natalie, Aidan, Alaina, Abram, Abby, Hayley, Kylee, Kelsey, Connor, Lucas and Nick; brother, Gary Willard of Eagle Grove; sisters: Naomi Hower of Wapwallopen, PA, Jacquelyne Thompson (Mark) of Glenville, MN, Michelle Peterson (Chris) of Eagle Grove, Candy  Baker (Mike) of Eagle Grove, Gwen (Willard) Alcorn of Johnston and Kathy Skasick (Jack) of Beebe, AK; brother-in-law, Melvin Schnell of Eagle Grove; sisters-in-law, Kathy Willard of Eagle Grove, Jane Willard of Eagle Grove and Sandy Willard of Eagle Grove and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

     There will be a visitation on Monday, August 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.
