Myrna "Doll" Darlene (Eaton) Skadburg

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Holmes Lutheran Church in Holmes, Iowa with visitation one hour prior to service time. 

     Known to most people by her nickname, Doll, she was born on April 26, 1931, to Bill and Sally Eaton of Fort Dodge, Iowa. After graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1949, she met Maynard Skadburg.  They were married on January 7, 1951 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

     After Doll and Maynard had their first child, she dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother. Doll was always there for her family and anyone that needed support and friendship.  Doll had a passion for life, and she made it her purpose to improve the lives of others as long as she could.

     Myrna Darlene Skadburg, age 90, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away on February 16, 2022.  Doll is preceded in death by her parents Sally and Bill Eaton; husband, Maynard; son, Rodney; grandson, Michael Skadburg and brother, Gene Eaton.

     Doll is survived by her two children, Jerald (wife - Marla) Skadburg of Dakota Dunes, SD and Debra Francis of Mason City, IA; daughter-in-law, Michelle Skadburg of Mason City, IA; four grandchildren: Jess Skadburg, Shawn Skadburg, Katie Lee, and Jacob Lee; three great-grandchildren: Landon, Sydney, and Ashtin; one step great-grandchild, Anna Marie Allard and brother, Gary Dean Eaton of Estherville, IA.

        Memorials may be left to the discretion off the family.  Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove in charge of arrangements.
