Patricia Ann Johnston

    Patricia Ann Johnston, the daughter of Neal and Pauline (Thebiay) Davis, was born March 1, 1926, in Iowa City, Iowa.  She was raised and educated in Eagle Grove graduating from Eagle Grove High School with the “Class of 1944”.

   On March 12, 1947, Pat was united in marriage to Francis “Buck” Dale Johnston at Eagle Grove.

    Pat work at Franklin Manufacturing in Webster City and provided childcare for families in their homes for over 20 years.

    Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove where she active for many years.  She enjoyed reading, visiting with friends and watching “General Hospital”.

    Pat passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge at the age of 94 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis in 1985 and son, Fredrick in 1989.

    Survivors include her son, William E. Johnston of Eagle Grove; grandson, Phillip R. Johnston and wife Leslie; granddaughter, Shelby McLaughlin and husband Corey and two greatgrandchildren, Xander and Elliot.
