Patricia Lou (Jett) Kelly

      Patricia Lou [Jett] Kelly, the daughter of William (Hurley) and Laura [McNichols] Jett, was born on November 27, 1952, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was raised in La Porte City, Iowa where she graduated from La Porte High School in 1972.

      In 1969, Pat married Donald Kelly in LaPorte City IA, they divorced in 1979 and later re-married in 1990 in Cedar Falls IA.  She worked most of her younger life as a CNA in Iowa. When Pat and Don remarried they moved to Faribault MN where she worked as cashier for a few different truck stops. Once they reached retirement ages they decided to move to Eagle Grove IA in 2008.
      Pat passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Fort Dodge hospital at the age of 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; son, Kyle Kelly, granddaughters Lorraine [Kelly] Wuebker and Kaitlyn McColley and her sister Mary [Jett] Williams.

      She is survived by her children: William (Mary) Kelly of Newton, Trisha (Dirk) Monaghan of Bedford, Carmen (Randy) McColley of Albert Lea, MN; several grand and great-grandchildren; sister: JoAnn (Jett) Salter of Santa Ana CA and her best friend Mary (Greg) Sheppard of Renwick.

      Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in VanMeter, Iowa.

     Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
