Patricia Ann (Brown) McCutcheon

Patricia Ann (Brown) McCutcheon, the daughter of Robert “Pat” and Norma (Rhiner) Brown, was born on May 29, 1939, (in the same house she still lived in) in Eagle Grove, Iowa.  She graduated from Eagle Grove High School, “Class of 1957”.

    On June 2, 1957, Pat was united in marriage with Robert McCutcheon at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove.  The couple made their home together in Eagle Grove for over 64 years and raised two children, Marcy and Kevin.

     Pat worked many years in her father’s store “Pat’s Market”.  She also provided day care in her home and then took care of many children at Eagle’s Wings Day Care.

     Pat was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove.    In her free time – Pat enjoyed watching T.V. – some of her favorites included – Survivor, Dr. Phil and Judge Judy!!

     Pat passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion at the age of 82 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin McCutcheon.   

    Survivors include her husband Robert of Eagle Grove; daughter, Marcy Kressin and husband Bob of Mascoutah, IL; four grandchildren: Kacey Rutledge (Alex) of Mascoutah, IL, Kyle Kressin of Long Beach, MS, Kari McCutcheon of Eagle Grove and Kolten McCutcheon (fiancé` Karly Gill) of Eagle Grove; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Steven R. Brown (Jennifer) of Fort Dodge; beloved cat, Ozzie and many other family and friends.

    Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove.  Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.

    Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
