Tony A. Tomke

Richard Anthony Tomke, III, the son of Richard A. II and Annabelle (Noonan) Tomke, was born on December 26, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.   He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove, graduating from Eagle Grove High School with the “Class of 1977”.

     Tony worked for Noonan & Tomke Jewelry in Eagle Grove until it closed in 2002.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Eagle Grove Golf Course, where he loved to play golf with his friends.

    Tony passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the age of 63 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle Jim Noonan.

    Tony is survived by his children: Sarah (Mackenzie) Sisson of Eagle Grove, Connor Tomke of Clear Lake, and Tori (Brandon Moore) Tomke of Otho; grandchildren: Gracie, Kylar and Kysen Sisson and Violet Moore; sisters, Nancy (John) Yoder of Belmond and Jan (Dale) Hinrichsen of Coralville and a brother, Terry (Lynn) Tomke of Alamogordo, NM as well as other relatives and friends.

    Visitation is Wednesday from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Eagle Grove Golf Course.
